With this, the German record champions want to “express and show their attachment to their hometown and its traditions”, announced the Munich team on Thursday.
Since the Oktoberfest “is part of the Bavarian way of life and is firmly anchored in the hearts”, the Bavarians continue, the club is bringing out a special jersey with partner adidas. The dress is dark green with a gold logo and stripes. The logo is also adorned with embroidery and the typical Oktoberfest alpine edelweiss is shown in the neck area.
The team of coach Julian Nagelsmann will wear the jersey once on Saturday (3:30 p.m.) against Bochum.
