FCB is in initial talks with Juventus about Dusan Vlahovic

According to information from GOAL and SPOX, FC Bayern Munich has contacted Juventus Turin about a possible transfer of center forward Dusan Vlahovic.

In the past few weeks there have been initial talks between Bayern and Juve. As far as the possible transfer fee for the 23-year-old Serb is concerned, the two clubs were still far apart. FCB is not yet close to the 80 million euros that the Italians envision.

According to information from SPOX and GOAL, however, it is possible that Munich will take a few steps towards Juventus in further negotiations. Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel is a fan of Vlahovic – and the Serbian national player himself is considering saying goodbye to Turin in the summer, despite his contract until 2026. Of course, it also plays a role that Juve cannot offer him Champions League football next season.

How Bayern’s interest develops also depends on how FCB’s sporting responsibilities will look in the future. After the dismissal of sports director Hasan Salihamidzic, the Säbener Straße is still looking for a successor.

Meanwhile, Bayern are currently the most realistic option for signing Vlahovic. According to information from SPOX and GOAL are also closely monitoring Manchester United and Chelsea FC.

Vlahovic moved from Fiorentina to Turin in January 2022 for 81.6 million euros. So far he has not really been able to meet the high expectations there. In the current season, which is now almost over, he has 14 goals in 42 appearances.
