Thomas Tuchel has been the coach of FC Bayern Munich since the end of March.

As part of the preparations, FC Bayern Munich is going on a trip to Asia this summer, where the “Audi Summer Tour” is taking place. Here you can find out against whom the record champions in Japan and Singapore are playing friendlies.

FC Bayern Munich was able to avert the disaster in the last game of the Bundesliga season a few weeks ago and just clinched their eleventh championship title in a row. After the turbulent season, it’s time for a break, but in July preparations for the 2023/24 season will start again. To start with, Bayern are organizing a training camp at Tegernsee. This lasts from July 15th to 20th.

But then things get down to business, with the “Audi Summer Tour” from July 24 to August 3, 2023, the second phase of the summer preparation. The people of Munich make the trip to Asia and stay in Japan and Singapore. Test matches, so-called “Audi Football Summits”, are planned.

Below you can find out who FCB is playing in friendlies on the “Audi Summer Tour” in Japan and Singapore.

FC Bayern’s opponents on the Asia trip are tough. On July 26, Munich will face none other than the newly crowned Champions League winners Manchester City. The Citizens will be played at the National Stadium in Tokyo. The two teams only faced each other last season – in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, to be more precise. In the first leg, the teams drew 1-1, in the second leg ManCity shifted up a gear and won 3-0.

The next game in Tokyo is already three days after the duel with the English champions. On July 29th we will face the Japanese first division club Kawasaki Frontale. Then the time in Japan will be over, the tour will be continued in Singapore, where the next top English club, Liverpool FC, is waiting on August 2nd.

It is the first time since 2008 that FC Bayern’s professional team is back in Japan. In 2017, the record champions were still in China and Singapore.

The new Bundesliga season 2023/24 will then begin in the second half of August, with FC Bayern on their mission to defend their title.
