Felix Magath is not thinking about the end of his coaching career

Former champion coach Felix Magath is not yet thinking about retiring. “I don’t want to be managing director, trainer and manager again at the next club. One position would be enough for me. I still feel capable of that,” said the 69-year-old sky-Interview.

Most recently, he had led Hertha BSC to stay up in the relegation last season. “I noticed it in Berlin, these games didn’t bother me. It was pure joy. A Bundesliga season wouldn’t bother me. That wouldn’t even be enough for me. I still want to play in the cup and in Europe as a coach,” emphasized the former national player and two-time vice world champion.

He is in a comfortable situation: “I don’t have to work, I want to work. I also want to do something somewhere where I see prospects. Last season, the eight games with Hertha BSC were a nice task and it wasn’t that easy, turn the corner. When I got there, the club was dead.”

It was an “exciting task” and he was satisfied with the old lady’s relegation: “I can’t say whether I would be satisfied with it now. That would depend on the talks. I want and will work again. Whether in Berlin Or somewhere else, I don’t know. I’m still healthy.”
