Former kicker publisher Rainer Holzschuh has died

Maria KeaneAfter a short, serious illness, Rainer Holzschuh, former editor of kicker, died on Thursday night at the age of 77.
The journalist from Bad Kissingen leaves behind his wife and two daughters.
Holzschuh has worked almost continuously in various functions for the Nuremberg trade journal since 1971, interrupted in 1983 by switching sides to the German Football Association (DFB) as press spokesman. Five years later he returned to kicker as editor-in-chief, and in 2010 he switched to the role of editor.
Holzschuh became a frequent guest at the Sunday talk show to a broader TV audience Sport1-Double pass known.
