Gio Reyna is injured

Attacking player Gio Reyna will probably miss large parts of the pre-season at Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund.

BVB confirmed on Tuesday that the American international is currently only training individually due to an unspecified “leg injury”. A return to team training is not yet in sight. At first they had Ruhr news reports this.

Reyna (20) has had injury problems in recent years, but he still made 22 Bundesliga appearances in the 2022/23 season (18 times as a substitute) and scored seven goals. He suffered the injury in mid-June when he won the CONCACAF Nations League final with the USA.
