Goretzka and Nagelsmann ennoble Neuer

Manuel Neuer recorded the 2-1 victory over Freiburg in stoppage time with several parades – and received exuberant praise from his team-mate Leon Goretzka and coach Julian Nagelsmann.

“You just have one hundred percent confidence that he’s there. He’s like a machine!” Said Goretzka after the game Sky.

After Bayern had the game completely under control for over 90 minutes, coach Julian Nagelsmann’s team again suffered some inexplicable weaknesses in stoppage time. Only Freiburg could not take advantage of this negligence because Neuer was simply insurmountable in the decisive moments.

At the press conference after the game, coach Nagelsmann hit the same note. “Manuel Neuer is still the best goalkeeper in the world. For Neuer, who always showed a few insecurities in the last few games and failed both against Frankfurt and in Berlin the previous week and conceded five goals in Gladbach, further confirmation of his performance and his standing within the team.
