Gregor Kobel apparently an issue at Manchester United and Chelsea

Borussia Dortmund’s goalkeeper Gregor Kobel probably has a few admirers among the top clubs in the Premier League: like the Schweizer Zeitung View reported that Manchester United and Chelsea are possible new employers if the 25-year-old is transferred.

United are currently on the lookout for a keeper who can follow in David de Gea’s footsteps in the long term. At Chelsea, meanwhile, neither Kepa Arrizabalaga nor Edouard Mendy have managed to be the ideal solution between the posts over a long period of time.

Therefore, both clubs should have Kobel in mind as a potential newcomer. The same is said of FC Bayern Munich, where the Swiss could possibly become the new number one in the long run.

Kobel has developed into perhaps the best goalkeeper in the Bundesliga at BVB and is under contract in Dortmund until 2026. An exit clause is probably not anchored in it.

The four-time national player switched from Stuttgart to BVB in 2021 and is currently dreaming of celebrating their first championship title with Borussia since 2012.
