Keeper Gregor Kobel from Borussia Dortmund has raved about the new goalkeeping coach of FC Bayern Munich Michael calculator. The 42-year-old was once one of the driving forces behind Kobel’s move from Grasshoppers Zurich U18s to TSG Hoffenheim.

“He’s working great. It’s been a great help to me. He’s an important factor in being able to play in the Bundesliga today,” said the 25-year-old on Wednesday evening after the 2-1 DFB Cup win over VfL Bochum. Kobel says computers “owe a lot”.

The delayed return of the Dortmund team from the cup game in Bochum was apparently due to a defective bell in the dressing room. The players from Bochum and referee Tobias Stieler waited around four and a half minutes for the BVB players.

“We didn’t notice anything. We only noticed it when we ran onto the field,” explained keeper Gregor Kobel. “It wasn’t on purpose or anything. We really didn’t hear it.”

Emre Can added: “Anyone who has ever played here knows that it is an extremely long way to the dressing room. Then someone came who said that Bochum were already out and that we had to go too. We did it is planned and missed.”
