Hasan Salihamidzic is said to have put a medal on Jude Bellingham

Before Jude Bellingham decided to move from Birmingham City to Borussia Dortmund in 2020, numerous clubs were interested in the young Englishman – including Bayern Munich. Hasan Salihamidzic is said to have made a transfer to Munich palatable for the now 19-year-old with a special campaign.

After the German record champions beat RB Leipzig 3-0 in the final, the FCB sports director is said to have even put a winner’s medal on the midfielder. “Brazzo” wanted to make it clear to Bellingham that he could win many titles with Bayern.

As is well known, it didn’t do anything. Bellingham joined BVB, contributed 20 goals and 22 assists in 114 competitive games and is under contract with Dortmund until 2025.

According to media reports, however, they will part ways in the summer. The youngster is being courted by Real Madrid and Liverpool FC, among others.
