Kingsley Coman's future is said to be uncertain despite a long-term contract

Sports director Hasan Salihamidzic from FC Bayern Munich has commented on the extension of the contract with striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting (33) – and emphasizes that this personnel has no influence on a possible commitment of the English national player Harry Kane (29).

When asked what Choupo-Moting’s new contract had to do with Kane, Salihamidzic said sky: “Nothing, that’s nonsense.”

He then explained to the Tottenham captain: “That’s not our thinking at all. First of all, we extended Choupo. I hope he continues the same way, keeps scoring goals and then we’ll see.” According to the ex-professional, he cannot yet say what will happen in the summer.

FCB has been associated with Kane for months. He should be the preferred candidate of the Munich sports directors for the storm center. The contract constellation with a contract expiring in 2024 also makes it interesting.

However, Spurs want to extend their flagship deal, and Premier League record champions Manchester United are also interested in Kane.

Kane currently has 20 goals

Last summer, Bayern decided not to sign a top-class replacement for Robert Lewandowski, who had moved to FC Barcelona.

Instead, his former representative Choupo-Moting played in the foreground and was rewarded last week with a new contract valid until 2024.

Kane made 36 competitive appearances for Tottenham this season, scoring 20 goals and providing four assists. Meanwhile, Choupo-Moting has 20 points (16 goals, four assists) in 25 games in FCB uniform.
