President Herbert Hainer expects Thomas Müller to end his career at Bayern Munich.
“I’m convinced that Thomas Müller belongs to FC Bayern like the Frauenkirche belongs to Munich,” said Hainer BR. “I am convinced that he will end his career at Bayern.”
The contract of the 32-year-old from Pähl in Upper Bavaria ends in 2023. According to sports1 Müller’s adviser Ludwig Kögl and the club bosses of FC Bayern met two weeks ago to discuss a possible extension of his working paper. A new contract is in the air until 2025.
On Saturday, Müller celebrated his 300th win in his 411th Bundesliga game in a 1-0 win over FC Augsburg. That’s the best value for a club in the Bundesliga. “I hope there will be a few more,” said Müller afterwards.
