BVB, News: Bobic confirms Lotka change
The back and forth is over. Marcel Lotka is moving to Borussia Dortmund as contractually agreed. At the general meeting of Hertha BSC, Berlin’s sports director Fredi Bobic confirmed the goalkeeper’s departure. “He couldn’t be held back and wanted it that way,” said Bobic. Hertha had hoped Lotka would stay until the end.
The 21-year-old had already signed with BVB a few weeks ago and should switch to the second team. After that, the former number five in Berlin developed into a regular keeper and should stay. In order to avoid a possible legal dispute with Borussia, Hertha has now released the talent.
