Houssem Aouar is apparently about to move to Eintracht Frankfurt. How sports1 reported, the 24-year-old could move to the Bundesliga free of charge next summer.
The midfielder’s contract in Lyon expires in the summer, and according to the report, Frankfurt wants to lure Aouar with a signing bonus of five million euros and an annual salary of three million euros.
Aouar, who has one cap for the French national team, could replace Daichi Kamada in Frankfurt, who is likely to be drawn to Borussia Dortmund in the summer.
According to various media reports, Manchester United were also interested in Aouar at the end of the winter transfer window. Now unity will prevail.
This season, Aouar has only made nine Ligue 1 appearances for Lyon through injury, in which he has one goal and one assist.
