BVB, rumours: Hudson-Odoi can imagine a change

Callum Hudson-Odoi can, according to information from the English newspaper The Guardians imagine a change from Chelsea to Borussia Dortmund. According to the report, Borussia is interested in the 21-year-old winger.

Hudson-Odoi is urged to leave Chelsea as he wasn’t even part of the 20-man squad in the weekend’s 1-0 win at Everton.

He is still under contract with the Blues until 2024, so a purchase by BVB is rather unlikely due to the high transfer fee. However, a loan transaction is quite conceivable. According to the report, the Dortmund team was said to have been on the verge of a Hudson-Odois loan last summer.

BVB, rumours: Akanji probably demands too much salary

Borussia Dortmund’s intended sale of central defender Manuel Akanji has still not gone through. Reason should be noisy sports1 be the salary demands of the Swiss, which have always deterred interested parties.

Akanji asked Juventus Turin for 13 million euros a year. Inter Milan has also been said to be interested in the Swiss for a long time, but so far he has not been able to come to an agreement with the Nerazzurri either. However, the potential departure of Milan Skriniar could get things moving again.

Borussia is trying to get rid of Akanji this summer for a double-digit million sum, as the defender’s contract expires next summer and the club have already signed two new central defenders in Niklas Süle and Nico Schlotterbeck for the season that is now beginning.
