Filip Kostic is apparently about to jump at Eintracht Frankfurt. As sky reported, Inter Milan are interested in the 29-year-old. Accordingly, intensive talks are already being held with the top Italian club.
There is a fee of 14 million euros plus four million bonus payments in the room, but there has not yet been an official offer from Inter to Frankfurt. Kostic, who is still under contract in Frankfurt until 2023, would receive a four-year contract in Milan with a net salary of five million euros per year.
There was already great interest from Lazio Rome last summer, but the transfer fell through at the time, which also led to Kostic separating from his consulting agency. The fact that he then switched to the Italian agency WSA can certainly be interpreted as a sign of his plans.
Kostic is having a strong season and recently scored twice in the away game against FC Barcelona to ensure that Eintracht won 3-2 and are now in the semi-finals of the Europa League.
