BVB, rumours: Renewed interest in Denis Zakaria?
Denis Zakaria has delivered quite well since moving to Juventus in winter. Nothing wild up, nothing wild down. The Swiss, for whom Juventus transferred eight million euros to Borussia Mönchengladbach, is doing his job properly and yet Juventus is looking for new players in the center position. Leandro Paredes is the dream destination and he could well imagine a move to Turin.
In that case, Zakaria could probably be sacrificed if an offer comes along. tuttosport reports that BVB could be among the interested parties. AS Monaco and AS Roma are also traded. Even before his move to Serie A, there was a Dortmund interest in Zakaria. It is questionable, however, whether BVB really needs it now, especially since with Salih Özcan they even got a new central player who has not yet made an appearance.
Mahmoud Dahoud had to be replaced injured in the last-minute defeat by Werder Bremen, but there is probably no risk of a longer injury break. “The shoulder jumped out, he couldn’t continue,” said BVB coach Edin Terzic after the game. Dahoud explained that WAZthat he was not in pain and could have continued playing.
BVB, News: David Raum talks about BVB
David Raum seemed to be one of the players Borussia Dortmund are particularly keen on in the summer. The national player should revitalize the left side, negotiations were repeatedly reported. It never came to a conclusion, instead Raum switched from 1899 Hoffenheim to RB Leipzig.
However, this was apparently not an either/or decision, as Raum elaborates table football-Interview narrated. “Dortmund was mentioned in the media very early on, so there was almost no exchange at all,” said the left-footed player: “And this exchange between the club and my advisors never really got hot.”
Raum admits: “Of course I listened to it, just like I listened to other requests. But in the end, RB convinced me and made me feel like I was trusted.”
BVB, News: Criticism after Süle’s debut
Niklas Süle celebrated his Bundesliga debut after a bitter 2: 3 defeat by BVB against Werder Bremen. The ex-Bayer was out in the first games of the season after an injury he sustained in the DFB Cup game against TSV 1860 Munich. Just after he came into play against Werder, the visitors turned the game around and won.
Coming for Mats Hummels, Süle at least didn’t look good when Oliver Burke scored 3-2 in the win. Süle was left behind after Mitchell Weiser had played the through ball. Also sports1Expert Stefan Effenberg sees it this way: “I think that Süle, as a left central defender, can very well block the ball if he goes there at the right pace.”
Friedhelm Funkel saw things similarly Sky90: “Süle simply has to execute the pass that is played deep before the 3:2. He has to intercept it with his left or right foot. After that, Wolf also has the opportunity, but I miss the unconditional willingness to to prevent this shot.” Augsburg manager Stefan Reuter added: “I wouldn’t open the question of mentality just yet, but it looked to me as if Süle wasn’t in the best shape yet.”
