RB Leipzig provoked 1. FC Union Berlin before their cup game against VfL Wolfsburg on Twitter. After the Iron Ones posted the line-up for the round of 16, Leipzig commented: “Isco?”
With this, RB alluded to the failed move of the former Real Madrid star to Berlin. According to FCU Managing Director Oliver Ruhnert, the reason should have been short-term changes in the contract.
However, the Berlin social media department was quick-witted. “Tradition?” Union answered promptly – and received a multiple of likes compared to the people of Leipzig.
