“It’s over with a maximum of 35”

Marcel Halstenberg has already considered the end of his professional career. “I’ll be 31 in September, with a maximum of 35 it’s over,” said the defender of Bundesliga club RB Leipzig sky-Interview.

The defensive player switched from second division FC St. Pauli to Sachsen in 2015, his current contract expires at the end of the season.

Halstenberg has no concrete ideas about the time after his career: “At some point I want to end the chapter of professional football and start something new.”
