Julian Nagelsmann to Tottenham Hotspur?  decision apparently made

Julian Nagelsmann, who was released by FC Bayern Munich, apparently has no interest in taking over the coaching position at Tottenham Hotspur in the short term. That reports the Picture-Newspaper.

Bayern surprisingly parted ways with the 35-year-old last week and presented Thomas Tuchel as his successor. Just a few days ago, the Spurs coach Antonio Conte was fired, which led to the rumors about Nagelsmann and Tottenham picking up speed again: Loud TheTimes the club wanted to start talks with Nagelsmann immediately.

A job with the Londoners is not an issue for the ousted Bayern coach. Loud Picture wants to let his expulsion sink in and analyze it before accepting another coaching job. He is also being talked about in the media as a potential successor to Carlo Ancelotti at Real Madrid.

Cristian Stellini will coach Tottenham until further notice after being Conte’s assistant. Spurs are currently fourth in the Premier League but have pursuers Newcastle United (two points and two games fewer) on their heels.

In an interview with sports1 Nagelsmann’s former youth coach Ernst Tanner also advised a break. He sees a job in the Premier League “as the next and logical step,” said the 49-year-old, who once looked after Nagelsmann at the lions and is now sports director at Philadelphia Union. “I doubt whether it has to be Tottenham in all haste and in a hurry. I would advise him to take a break first, to reflect and not jump too quickly into the next shark tank.”
