Juwel Elye Wahi from HSC Montpellier is apparently a dream player for Borussia Dortmund

Loud Telefoot Borussia Dortmund is dreaming of signing Montpellier striker Elye Wahi. According to media reports, a transfer fee of around 30 million euros would be due for the 20-year-old. Furthermore, the two North London clubs Tottenham and Arsenal are said to be interested in the Frenchman.

Wahi is in strong form at the moment and is up front for Montpellier. He has eight goals and two assists in 21 games this season. The right-footer is still under contract with the 2012 French champions until 2025, while his market value is 18 million euros.

After Kylian Mbappé, Wahi is the second player to have scored 20 goals in Ligue 1 under the age of 20.

Borussia Dortmund are expected to lose a center forward in Anthony Modeste in the summer, but have two other nines in Sébastien Haller and Youssoufa Moukoko. So whether one actually feels the need to spend a lot of money on the youngster remains to be seen. Wahi’s flexibility – he can also be used on the wings – could possibly lead to the Westphalians daring to approach him.

However, if teams from the Premier League get serious about Wahi, BVB should have bad cards.
