Bayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann will most likely have to do without Lucas Hernandez and Kingsley Coman in the away game at Arminia Bielefeld on Sunday (3.30 p.m.).
The two Frenchmen complained about muscular problems after the quarter-finals in the Champions League against Villarreal, Nagelsmann said. He “doesn’t assume that either of them will fly to Bielefeld. We’ll decide that on Saturday.”
Furthermore, Niklas Süle is missing because of the consequences of flu and Corentin Tolisso after a muscle fiber tear. On the other hand, Bouna Sarr is back in training and an alternative for the squad in Bielefeld.
After the frustration in the premier class, his team now has “a clear mission,” said Nagelsmann, looking ahead to the “match ball game” against Borussia Dortmund on April 23: “We have to win both games to clinch the championship. Then we have we’ll do the part that we absolutely have to do. We have to deliver, we’ll keep getting our money.”
