BVB: Kroos talks about Haaland rumors
National player Toni Kroos, who has been under contract with the Spanish top club Real Madrid since 2014, would be very happy about a future interaction with the current BVB attacker Erling Haaland.
In one on Twitter As the video clip circulates, the Los Blancos midfielder guesses the names of footballers who are depicted without faces. When Erling Haaland is shown, Kroos only says briefly: “It wouldn’t be bad to play with him again.”
For months there have been rumors about the exceptional Norwegian player as to whether and when he could leave BVB. His contract runs until 2024, but some clubs have already been named as interested parties – including Real Madrid.
Real tried the 21-year-old in the last transfer window, who scored a whopping 70 goals in 69 games for Dortmund.
Dortmund, News: Leitner raves about the climate at BVB
Ex-Dortmund player Moritz Leitner did an interview with transfermarkt.de talked about his time at BVB. Although he never got above the rank of supplementary player in the years in Dortmund, he keeps the time in black and yellow in good memories.
“The atmosphere in the club and the team, how we treated each other, were there for each other in the dressing room, and lived on the pitch, was incredibly beautiful,” said the 28-year-old. “It was like playing football with your friends. That was unique.”
He particularly remembers Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, with whom he played at BVB from 2013 to 2016. “Bling-bling here, bling-bling there. But on the pitch and personally he was a great guy,” said Leitner.
Leitner has only positive words left for his former trainer in Dortmund, Jürgen Klopp. “As a young team you could learn a lot” from today’s LFC coach, according to Leitner: “When he walks into a room and starts talking, you get goose bumps. He can motivate you incredibly well and take you on his journey. That is a very great strength of his. There are probably few players who would have preferred to do something other than go to BVB. I would have gone there on foot. “
In a total of five years at BVB, Leitner played 67 competitive games. He was denied a goal, but today’s Zurich professional collected seven assists.
BVB, News: Can is canceled for the time being
BVB will have to contest without Emre Can in the coming weeks. “He will be out with a minor muscle injury that will drag on until after the international break,” said BVB coach Marco Rose on Friday at the press conference before the Bundesliga match against 1. FC Köln.
The national team will play against Liechtenstein (November 10th) and Armenia (November 14th) in the World Cup qualification. BVB expects Ajax Amsterdam to take revenge for the 4-0 defeat in the Champions League on Wednesday and will travel to RB Leipzig in the league (November 6).
Midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud (inner ligament stretch) will still be missing, at least against Cologne. “He’s not an option, we couldn’t do that,” said Rose. On the other hand, strikers Youssoufa Moukoko and Donyell Malen are coming back, “whom we will try”. One of them will probably try to replace the injured Erling Haaland. Whether Gregor Kobel can be back in goal will be decided in the final training.
