The fronts between Eintracht Frankfurt and Lazio Rome in the proposed transfer of Filip Kostic seem to harden more and more. One of the reasons: Apparently the Romans sent their offer for the SGE to a wrong email address.

That reports the image. Accordingly, Eintracht sports director Markus Krösche asked the Romans to send a written offer. This also happened, but it was probably sent to the wrong email address.

The breakdown was noticed after Lazio sports director Igli Tare had already sent the offer, but Krösche said at the time that nothing had arrived.

In addition, both clubs are arguing about the transfer fee for Kostic. “I was surprised that Frankfurt is now saying that Kostic is not on the market and that it is not a question of price. That sounded different to me before,” said Tare image.

Filip Kostic: Eintracht Frankfurt wants to stay tough

The 48-year-old continues: “I didn’t get the impression from the talks that Kostic was not allowed to leave the club. We would have been willing to negotiate again about the price. But that didn’t happen.”

Frankfurt wants to have around 20 million euros for the Serbs. Before the game against Arminia Bielefeld (1: 1), Kostic was last unexcused in the final training session and was removed from the squad. The SGE said they wanted to stay tough and referred to Kostic’s contract until 2023.

The 28-year-old has been playing on the Main since 2019. In so far 129 competitive games he has scored 26 goals and made 48 assists.
