Former national goalkeeper Jens Lehmann can now call himself a certified sports manager. The 52-year-old completed a corresponding further training course at the University of St. Gallen.
Lehmann is thus in line with former graduates such as Mladen Petric, Heiko Westermann and Gerald Asamoah.
The 61-time national player ended his active career in 2011. In the Bundesliga he played for Schalke 04, Borussia Dortmund and VfB Stuttgart. Most recently, he worked as an assistant coach at FC Augsburg for almost three months in 2019.
