FC Bayern, rumours: Leroy Sane not for sale?
Munich would like to keep Leroy Sane, but the 26-year-old is apparently not unsaleable. At least that’s what it reports sky. With an offer of 60 to 70 million euros, FCB may be willing to talk.
A few days ago he had Mirror reports that Manchester United have inquired about the winger. Arsenal are also linked to Sane. However, FCB sports director Hasan Salihamidzic confirmed these rumors at the weekend Sky90 a direct rejection: “There’s nothing to it. Leroy is an important player for us, so there’s nothing to tell about it.”
According to the report, FC Bayern still thinks highly of Sane and hopes for the national player’s final breakthrough. However, there should also be other opinions about Sane internally.
In Munich he also has enormous competition in attack, in the first two competitive games of the new season in the Supercup against Leipzig (5: 3) and in the Bundesliga opener against Frankfurt (6: 1) Sane was not in the starting XI. As a substitute, he still marked a goal and an assist.
FC Bayern, News: FCB without Lewandowski “even better”
Bayern legend Lothar Matthäus raved about FCB’s start to the season, and Robert Lewandowski’s departure to Barcelona even had a positive effect. “It almost gives the impression that Munich are even better without Lewandowski,” wrote Matthäus in his sky-Column.
The reason for this assumption is the gained variability and “more joy in playing”, said Matthäus. “The system was tailored to Lewandowski, and it was also very successful, after all it’s not a handicap if a player scores 50 goals. However, every player now has the opportunity to show themselves and breathe a little,” said the 61 -year-olds further out. “You can tell that everyone is playing a little more freely and has more freedom. In addition, people are no longer so attached to their positions and you have a lot of flexibility on the offensive.”
For the opponents of the German record champions, that means: “It’s not enough to have courage. The opponents simply have to be more compact, work more aggressively and stand on the Bayern stars’ feet and seek contact. Of course, you can’t allow yourself any dropouts. The Concentration must be maintained at all times.”
