Maria KeaneFCB legend Lothar Matthäus has brought up striker Serhou Guirassy from VfB Stuttgart at FC Bayern Munich.
“I would get Guirassy! For the umpteenth time, I noticed him positively again in the cup game against Frankfurt: sure of the ball, fast, robust body,” said Matthäus der Picture. “He has everything a top centre-forward needs. Guirassy is as good as Kolo Muani – the difference is that he costs a lot less.”
In addition to Frankfurt’s striker, the names of Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur) and Victor Osimhen (SSC Napoli) have been circulating around FC Bayern for a long time. The favorite, however, is said to be Kolo Muani.
Guirassy is on loan from VfB at Stade Rennes until the end of the season. The Swabians can sign the Guinean international, who has scored ten goals in 22 competitive games, for nine million euros.
“The lines between Munich and Stuttgart are short, not least because of Uli and Dieter Hoeneß and VfB trainer Sebastian Hoeneß,” said Matthäus. “Why shouldn’t Bayern try to get Guirassy? Kane is already too old at almost 30, Osimhen would have been far too expensive. But Kolo Muani will also cost more than his market value, which he has increased to 65 million since the strong World Cup with France – if Frankfurt lets him go at all.”
