FC Bayern, rumor: soon decision at Hernández?
Lucas Hernández could leave Bayern Munich for Paris Saint-Germain in the summer. As the sports picture reported, there was a secret meeting between the FCB officials around Jan-Christian Dreesen and Marco Neppe and the Frenchman on Tuesday. Thomas Tuchel would be in constant contact with the 27-year-old anyway.
Accordingly, there are only two options for Bayern: Either Hernández extends or he is sold. In any case, it should be prevented that the defender goes on a free transfer in the summer of 2024.
A decision should be made as soon as possible – preferably before Hernández goes on vacation on June 14th.
A few weeks ago, despite his cruciate ligament rupture, everything pointed to Hernández staying in the long term, but PSG are said to have made him a lucrative offer.
The change in management around Hasan Salihamidzic, who is said to have had good talks with Hernández, does not make the situation any easier. In addition, Paris is said to have presented him with a five-year contract, while Bayern have a contract for three more years.
FC Bayern, rumor: FCB not in pole position with Declan Rice
Declan Rice from West Ham United is reportedly still the absolute dream player for FC Bayern Munich and coach Thomas Tuchel. However, another club is said to have the edge in courting the midfielder.
As transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports, Arsenal are currently in pole position. Should the Gunners actually win the race, Bayern would have to look for an alternative. Frenkie de Jong is said to be on the list as a plan B.
After winning the Conference League with the Hammers on Wednesday, Rice himself left a small gap that he might stay with his home club.
“This isn’t goodbye yet,” Rice said beIN Sports: “Of course there’s a lot of speculation, but nothing happened. I’m a West Ham player. I have two years left on my contract. I love every minute here, you can see the smile on my face. That’s what tonight is about not, it’s about us celebrating and that’s what I’m going to do now.”
FC Bayern, rumor: high pain threshold for Alphonso Davies
The departure of Hasan Salihamidzic also meant that talks with Alphonso Davies about a contract extension stalled. Since his current working paper is still dated until 2026, Munich would have to sell him by summer 2024 at the latest in order to be able to receive a reasonable fee.
In this case, however, the potential buyer would have to dig deep into his pocket. As the tz wants to know, the pain threshold of the German record champions is said to be 100 million euros. A sale this summer should not be up for debate.
According to the report, the number one goal is still to bind the left-back in the long term. Marco Neppe could be the ace up his sleeve. Bayern’s technical director was the first to recognize Davies’ talent.
