According to BVB sports director Sebastian Kehl, Marco Reus did a lot during his vacation. The former captain of Borussia Dortmund should inspire with his fitness values.

Reus should therefore also remain part of the team council.
“Marco was very clear with this decision,” Kehl said of the 34-year-old’s move to relinquish his captain’s armband. “I see him very committed, very clear and fit. For him, it wasn’t just about simply adding a year, he has big plans for the season.”
Specifically: “What was possible with BVB last season motivates him even more now.”
Reus had to nibble on the dramatically missed championship for a long time. According to Kehl, he has now “returned from vacation with top marks, which shows his professionalism”.
