Marco Reus probably returned to Borussia Dortmund “with absolute top values”.

According to BVB sports director Sebastian Kehl, Marco Reus did a lot during his vacation. The former captain of Borussia Dortmund should inspire with his fitness values.

Borussia Dortmund plans with Reus even after his resignation as captain in a key function. “Of course we will continue to find a leadership role for him and we will not let him out of responsibility,” said sports director Kehl sports picture. Reus should therefore also remain part of the team council.

“Marco was very clear with this decision,” Kehl said of the 34-year-old’s move to relinquish his captain’s armband. “I see him very committed, very clear and fit. For him, it wasn’t just about simply adding a year, he has big plans for the season.”
