Mood in the Bundesliga: Frankfurt ahead, FC Bayern only 17.

Eintracht Frankfurt has the best stadium atmosphere in the Bundesliga – that was the result of a representative survey by the FanQ voting platform commissioned by SID.

More than 10,000 fans surveyed had to rate their favorite club. The home of the Hessians achieved 4.96 stars out of five possible stars, so Eintracht came out on top of Union Berlin (4.95) and Schalke 04 (4.94).

1. FC Köln (4.90) and VfL Bochum (4.86) complete the top 5 from the perspective of their own supporters. Borussia Dortmund’s atmospheric south stand received an average of 4.83 out of five stars from those surveyed.

Record champions Bayern Munich (3.87) ranks second to last in terms of stadium atmosphere, ahead of trailing tail TSG Hoffenheim (3.44).
