BVB – News: Sweden jewel Hugo Larsson talks about Dortmund rumors
Sweden’s top talent Hugo Larsson is said to have been targeted by BVB. Now the 18-year-old commented on the rumors.
In conversation with Photobolls channels Larsson said: “I don’t know if they follow me. I only read what you wrote about their interest. I don’t know much more about it. But it’s clear that Dortmund is a great club that young players go to can.”
In general though, he likes the Bundesliga, as Larsson explained: “I’ve said before that the Bundesliga is a league I want to switch to, so I think it would suit me perfectly. Then we’ll see where I end up when there’s going to be a movement. Like I said, it’s the project that’s closest to my heart, that’s the most important thing.”
Larsson is arguably the biggest talent in Swedish football right now and made his debut for the national team earlier in the year. The Malmö FF midfielder has a contract until 2026, so it won’t come cheap.
BVB – News: RB Leipzig teases Borussia after winning in Munich
BVB needed help in the fight for the championship, which they got on Saturday in the form of a 3-1 win by RB Leipzig at FC Bayern. The Saxons have now spoken up via Twitter, among other things, and also accepted an offer from Dortmund’s mayor to Dortmund’s pot rivals Schalke 04.
It was said on the official RB Leipzig Twitter account: “Hey BVB, we’re ready then. When can we come by for the entry in the golden book?” What was meant was a statement by Dortmund’s mayor Thomas Westphal, who had offered Schalke 04 exactly this a few weeks ago if the miners had helped BVB in the championship race with a win in Munich. The Royal Blues, however, lost there 0:6, very different from Leipzig.
But that’s not all, because RB captain Willi Orban also commented snippyly after the duel in Munich towards Dortmund: “I don’t know if they want to offer us a fan friendship now,” said Orban, referring to the broad rejection on the part of BVB Fans versus Red Bull.
Dominik Szoboszlai, on the other hand, went from the point to the jubilation after his goal to make it 3-1, which is otherwise known from Karim Adeyemi. Both once played together in attack at Red Bull Salzburg, so this jubilant gesture could actually have been meant seriously.
BVB – News: Julien Duranville against FC Augsburg in the squad for the first time
Julien Duranville could play for BVB for the first time on Sunday in Augsburg. The winger traveled to FCA. That’s what they report Ruhr news. Accordingly, the 17-year-old Belgian started on Saturday with the Dortmund team in the direction of Augsburg, where the black and yellow can take the lead in the Bundesliga with a win on Sunday.
Duranville came to BVB from RSC Anderlecht in the winter for a transfer fee of 8.5 million euros. He was out for a long time after that due to a muscle injury, but he is now fit again.
Duranville has played for Anderlecht’s Erste this season and has scored one goal in six games. He has already played two games for Belgium’s U19 national team.
BVB vs. FC Augsburg: The expected line-ups
After Bayern’s bankruptcy on Saturday in Augsburg (5.30 p.m. live on DAZN), BVB can regain the lead in the table and thus, to a certain extent, secure a match point for the championship in the coming week.
However, Borussia Dortmund will have to do without what is probably their most important player in this very important away game – BVB haven’t won any of their last four games on opposing sides: Jude Bellingham didn’t even travel to the Fuggerstadt with knee problems. So the big question will be how coach Edin Terzic will compensate for this loss.
BVB: Kobel – M. Wolf, Süle, Hummels, Ryerson – Can – Özcan, Brandt – Malen, Adeyemi – Haller.
FC Augsburg: Koubek – M. Bauer, Gouweleeuw, Uduokhai – Engels, Dorsch, Rexhbecaj, Pedersen – M. Berisha, Demirovic – Beljo.
