Marcus Thuram (25), whose contract with Borussia Mönchengladbach expired at the end of the season, is moving to Inter Milan for the new season. The Nerazzurri officially announced this on Saturday. The Frenchman signs until 2028.
It has been clear for some time that the Frenchman will leave Borussia. He has been playing there since 2019 and is now looking for a new challenge. In a way, he follows in the footsteps of his father Lilian Thuram, who was once active for Parma and Juventus in Serie A and was extremely successful there.
The rumor recently circulated that Thuram had to choose between Inter and AC Milan.
Thuram had his best Bundesliga season in 2022/23, scoring 13 goals in 30 games for the Foals. He also provided six assists. At Inter he succeeds Edin Dzeko and Romelu Lukaku. Dzeko will play for Fenerbahce in the Süper Lig, while Lukaku returns to Chelsea after his loan.
