Club boss Oliver Mintzlaff has rejected speculation that striker Christopher Nkunku will leave RB Leipzig.
“I’ve said it often and I like to say it here on ARD: Nkunku will be our player again next season,” said Mintzlaff ahead of the DFB Cup semi-final against Union Berlin.
The Frenchman Nkunku is still under contract with RB until 2024, most recently he was associated with Bayern Munich, among other things. The 24-year-old attacker currently has 17 goals and 16 assists for RB.
