Omar Marmoush leaves Wolfsburg - move to Frankfurt?

Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt has signed offensive player Omar Marmoush for the coming season. As the club announced on Monday, the 24-year-old is moving from VfL Wolfsburg to Main on a free transfer and has signed a contract there until June 30, 2027.

“With Omar Marmoush we were able to sign a player who will give our offensive even more flexibility with his skills,” said Eintracht sports director Markus Krösche: “Omar has already proven his qualities in the Bundesliga and at the same time still has great potential for development. We We are happy that we were able to bring such an exciting and talented player to Eintracht Frankfurt on a free transfer.”

The Egyptian international (17 games, four goals) was previously under contract at Wolfsburg for a total of six years and during this time also appeared on loan for second division side FC St. Pauli and VfB Stuttgart. He has played 46 competitive games for VfL in all competitions, 34 of them this season (six goals).
