Pal Dardai apparently remains coach of Hertha BSC

Pal Dardai will probably remain coach of his heart club Hertha BSC in the 2nd division. He reports that table football. The relegated had previously held talks with other coach candidates, but decided to stay with the veteran. Hertha investor 777 Partners is also behind the Hungarian.

Dardai himself initially left his future open after the descent. “I never apply. We’ll definitely talk about a few things, but we’re not ready to think about my future yet,” Dardai said and announced after the 1-1 draw against VfL Bochum on matchday 33 : “When the time comes, we can talk about things.”

The 47-year-old returned to the Hertha bench in mid-April for the rescue mission for his third term as head coach, but did not prevent the seventh Bundesliga relegation in the club’s history. His contract would expire on June 30.
