Raphaël Guerreiro is apparently about to say goodbye to Borussia Dortmund. Photos circulated on Monday evening showing the 29-year-old left-back loading his car with moving boxes. How sports1 found out, furniture movers are said to have been sighted in front of Guerreiro’s house on Dortmund’s Phoenixsee. According to the report, his colleagues expect to say goodbye.
Guerreiro’s contract ends at the end of the season. The club reportedly made him an offer to extend his contract, which the player has so far not accepted. Guerreiro scored a strong 19 points in 34 competitive games this season, but he still wasn’t sure of his regular place last time.
BVB will probably intensify efforts to Edson Álvarez
Borussia Dortmund’s efforts for Edson Álvarez from Ajax Amsterdam are apparently becoming more concrete. Loud sky talks between the midfielder’s management and BVB had already taken place. Álvarez could replace Jude Bellingham should he be expected to join Real Madrid. Ajax are reportedly demanding around 50 million euros for the 25-year-old Mexican. His contract runs until 2025.

Lothar Matthäus has called for a contract extension with a regular place guarantee for Mats Hummels at Borussia Dortmund. “Mats Hummels must be seeded in my opinion,” said Matthäus Sky90. “The only discussion left is who is playing next to him: Schlotterbeck or Süle?”
Hummel’s contract expires at the end of the season. “We would like to extend with Mats, he knows that too. And Mats also knows that we need a decision on this soon – and preferably before the end of the season,” said sports director Sebastian Kehl.
