As soon as the Bundesliga season is over, there is already the first big news in relation to transfers. According to consistent media reports, FC Bayern Munich has agreed to work with Raphaël Guerreiro until 2026.

The Portuguese, whose contract with Borussia Dortmund expires in the summer, is doing it like Robert Lewandowski once did and is therefore moving from his direct competitor to the German record champions free of charge. The medical check-up is due to be completed this week.

Information on the salary that the assist king of the past Bundesliga season (12 assists) is said to earn has not yet been leaked. At BVB it was around 5 million euros a year. His fortune is estimated at 8 million euros.
Born in France, Guerreiro has been married to his partner Marrion since 2015 and they also have two children with her: son Sascha (born in 2015) and daughter Ana (born in 2016).

Guerreiro, who is most often used at left-back but can also play in the eighth position, has played for three clubs in his career. Before he came to BVB in 2016, he hunted for points in the French Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 for the clubs SM Caen and FC Lorient. However, the 29-year-old only won his first club title in Germany. With BVB he became the DFB Cup winner in 2017. His coach back then: Thomas Tuchel, who has been coaching FC Bayern for months now.
Years later, Guerreiro also won the DFL Supercup (2019/20) with Dortmund, before winning the cup again in the 2020/21 season. The only thing missing is the Bundesliga cup. He missed this on the last day of the season that just ended. As a player in the Portuguese national team, Guerreiro won the European Championship in 2016 and the UEFA Nations League in 2019.
Although Guerreiro spends most of his time on the pitch as a full-back, his stats are more like an attacking player. At BVB, “Rapha” scored 40 goals in 224 games and played 50 more.
