RB Leipzig apparently before signing desired player Lois Openda

DFB Cup winner RB Leipzig is apparently about to sign the desired player Lois Openda. Like the trade magazine first table football and later sky reported on Wednesday, the attacker of the French vice-champion RC Lens should arrive at the Saxons this week for a medical check-up and then sign a contract until 2028.

The Bundesliga club therefore transfers around 38 million euros for the 23-year-old Belgian, with further bonus payments to be made.

Openda would replace Naby Keita as a record transfer from Leipzig. In 2016, the midfielder switched from FC Salzburg to the Bundesliga club for a sum of almost 30 million euros.

The rumors about a move from Opendas to Leipzig had lasted for a few weeks, and the player himself pushed for a move to Germany on social media.

Openda is set to succeed Christopher Nkunku, who has joined English top club Chelsea, at the Cup Winners’ Cup.
