Real Madrid now allegedly know what the price for BVB midfielder Jude Bellingham is. BVB is probably doing the right thing.
Real Madrid are reportedly set to pay a base fee of €100m for Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham to secure the Englishman’s services this summer. In addition, there should be bonuses of 25 million euros, which will be distributed over the six-year term of the Bellingham contract. This is reported by the English daily newspaper TheMirror.
Real is considered the top favorite for the Bellingham deal and, according to the report, has not only agreed on the transfer with the midfielder, but also with BVB.
The bonuses are said to depend on Real’s performance in the league and other domestic and international competitions, as well as the number of games Bellingham has played and the goals he has scored.
The transfer is expected to be announced next week.
Bellingham joined BVB from Birmingham City in 2020 for 25 million euros. Now Borussia can expect a decent transfer win for the Englishman after three years.
Bellingham has made 31 appearances in the Bundesliga this season, scoring eight goals and providing five assists. However, he missed the decisive game against Mainz on Saturday with knee problems.
