Robert Lewandowski brings video game to market

FC Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski is launching a video game in the coming year, in which he played a decisive role. The goalscorer shared a first trailer via Instagram.

This is a football manager who should appear under the name “Football Coach”. Lewandowski worked with the Polish developer RL9 Games, of which he is a co-founder.

“Soon I will introduce you to my world of football. You will discover my sporting experience and the secrets of coaching in our game. This game will be as exciting as a goal in the ninetieth minute,” Lewandowski is quoted on the game’s homepage.

In addition to the management element, the game should include a “striker mode”, which means that, similar to FIFA, the players can hook themselves into what is happening on the pitch and control an actor. The relationship with the fans and the manager’s private life should also play a role.

An exact release date is not yet known. What is clear, however, is that Lewandowski, who still has a contract in Munich until 2023, is already setting the course for a career after his career with his new project.
