Superstar Sadio Mané has been temporarily suspended by FC Bayern for his assault on teammate Leroy Sane. The Munich confirmed on Thursday.

“Sadio Mané will not be in the FC Bayern squad for the home game against 1899 Hoffenheim next Saturday. The reason is Mané’s misconduct after FC Bayern’s Champions League game at Manchester City. Mané will also receive a fine,” he said FCB with.

The 31-year-old allegedly hit Sane in the face after a loud argument after Munich’s devastating 0: 3 in the quarter-finals at Manchester City.

Mané was still there when the record champions trained on Thursday afternoon. Before the unit, CEO Oliver Kahn and sports director Hasan Salihamidzic had ordered the 31-year-old to report. Coach Thomas Tuchel spoke to the Senegalese on the pitch.

Mané had switched from Liverpool to Bayern Munich for 32 million euros before the season. So far, however, Africa’s footballer of the year has not been able to meet the high expectations.

However, Senegal’s captain was out for a long time after an operation on the head of the fibula. Because of the injury, Mané also missed the World Cup in Qatar.
