The farewell to Sadio Mané at Bayern is apparently taking on concrete forms. How The Athletic reported that the consulting agency and the Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr met to discuss the future of the Senegalese.
Accordingly, Al-Nassr sporting director Goran Vucevic met with an adviser from the ROOF agency, which also represents Mané, at the Pine Cliffs Hotel in Portugal.
Several media recently reported that Munich would like to sell the striker this transfer summer. Above all, Mané’s high salary is a thorn in the side of Bayern. This should be saved and reinvested elsewhere.
The striker himself had been cryptic about his future. “Yes, God willing. If everything goes well, I will return to Bayern,” he said 2sTV and added that he loves a challenge: “It’s up to me to do whatever it takes to meet this challenge.”
FC Bayern: Sadio Mané with a disappointing first season
Mané switched from Liverpool FC to Säbener Straße last summer for a transfer fee of 32 million euros, but was unable to meet expectations, especially in the second half of the season.
In 38 competitive games he had only twelve goals and six assists.
