Maria KeaneBorussia Dortmund does not want to get carried away when looking for a replacement for its seriously ill top striker Sebastien Haller. “I would like to push the compulsion away a bit. We won’t let ourselves be put under pressure, we will only do something if it really makes sense,” said sports director Sebastian Kehl in an interview on Friday Sky Sports News.
BVB also have many options without the Ivorian national player Haller (28), who will be out for months after a testicular tumor operation.
“We have a lot of youth and freshness in the squad and can also do something with the system,” said Kehl. “If there is an option, it would be good to implement it as soon as possible. But we haven’t set a timetable.”
