Glasner should be given the opportunity to prove himself permanently as a project developer with the Frankfurt professionals.
The Austrian had led Eintracht to triumph in the Europa League last season. In the current season, Frankfurt are in the quarter-finals of the DFB Cup and in the round of 16 of the Champions League. Eintracht is sixth in the Bundesliga.
Glasner began his coaching career as an assistant at Red Bull Salzburg. After stints at SV Ried and Linzer ASK, he joined VfL Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga in 2019, where he succeeded Bruno Labbadia. With the wolves he reached the Europa League in seventh place in the first year and the Champions League in fourth place in the second year.
In 2022 Glasner moved to Frankfurt, where he succeeded his compatriot Adi Hütter.
