Sheraldo Becker from Union Berlin does it like ex-BVB star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Sheraldo Becker celebrated his goal to make it 2-0 for Union Berlin against table neighbors SC Freiburg in an unusual way. The striker donned a Spiderman mask and cheered in superhero fashion in front of the fans at the An der Alten Försterei stadium.

Becker, who had already set up Unions 1-0 through Kevin Behrens, shook off opponent Manuel Gulde in front of his goal and then executed a pass from the inside right after Robin Knoche’s pass. This was followed by said jubilation, which the referee Marco Fritz punished with a yellow card.

It’s not the first time that a goal in the Bundesliga has been celebrated in superhero fashion. Former BVB striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Chelsea FC) celebrated goals in this way several times. Particularly unusual: In the district derby against FC Schalke in 2015, for example, he celebrated with strike partner Marco Reus as Batman and Robin.

A little later, Becker followed up with his second goal of the afternoon with a right-footed shot. The 28-year-old now has twelve goals this season in 45 appearances for the Berliners. He also provided eight assists.

Union meets 1899 Hoffenheim and Werder Bremen on the last two matchdays. The Köpenickers have a good chance of bagging their first participation in the Champions League.
