National player Sjoeke Nüsken is moving from Eintracht Frankfurt to top English club Chelsea in the summer. The 22-year-old has signed a three-year contract until 2026 and meets the DFB duo Melanie Leupolz and Ann-Katrin Berger in the FA Cup winners. Your contract with SGE originally ran until the summer of 2024.
“It’s a big club with such good players. I hope I can improve my footballing skills,” said Nüsken about her move to the English Women’s Super League.
Chelsea team manager Emma Hayes gave the 15-cap international full praise: “She is dynamic, has good positional play and will be a fantastic addition to our club.”
In her four years in Frankfurt, Nüsken, who was born in Westphalia, played 92 competitive games, scoring 13 goals and becoming a national player. In February 2021 she made her debut in the selection of national coach Martina Voss-Tecklenburg, but just missed the leap into the European Championship squad last summer.
