For a long time it was a TV secret how many fans watch their team’s games on average per Bundesliga match day – now this secret has been revealed sports picture figures from the past Saturdays are available.

All games on Saturday since the last 2021/22 season have been evaluated, with one exception: the games against the top 3 (Bayern, BVB, Schalke) were not included in the calculations for the respective opponents in order not to falsify the numbers, because the fans in particular of the top 3 sitting in front of the TV. The rated games were each based on sky transfer.

So games during the week, as well as on Friday and Sunday, were not included – i.e. games that were broadcast on DAZN or on free TV.
