So you can see the 2021/22 season live on free TV and free livestream

On July 23, the 3rd division starts into the 2021/22 season. This will again show games live on free TV and in a free live stream. You can find out who is responsible for the transmissions here.

Third division football again! On Friday, July 23rd, the 2021/22 season begins with the game between VfL Osnabrück and MSV Duisburg.

As before every season, many fans are asking themselves again this year whether games of the 3rd division can be seen for free – that is, on free TV or in the free live stream. We will deal with this question and the live broadcast situation in the 3rd division in detail in the following sections.

Here the 3rd division is already first class! Also in this 2021/22 season, numerous games will be broadcast live on free TV and in the free live stream.

The live broadcast of the 3rd division in the ARD and their third programs. This includes the following ARD-Channel: ARD, BR, HR, MDR, NDR, SR, SWR and WDR. The live broadcast on free TV on these channels is limited to Saturday games that start at 2 p.m. The responsible broadcasters offer a free live stream on their homepage for all games shown live on free TV.

A few live broadcasts have already been confirmed before the start of the season.

There’s one more piece of good news about the live coverage of the 3rd division! MagentaSport shows all 380 season games live, and the Telekom broadcaster always offers a conference for simultaneous games.

3rd Bundesliga: The 20 third division teams of the 2021/22 season

Compared to the previous season, the field of 20 third division clubs includes seven new names. VfL Osnabrück, Eintracht Braunschweig and Würzburger Kickers were relegated from the second division, plus the newly promoted SC Freiburg II, Borussia Dortmund II, Viktoria Berlin and TSV Havelse.
