Steffen Baumgart teases Union Berlin about the transfer of Benedict Hollerbach

1. FC Köln have finally given up hope of a transfer from Benedict Hollerbach, even if the negotiations between the goalscorer from SV Wehen Wiesbaden and Union Berlin are still stuck.

“The player canceled us after we agreed. I have a clear opinion on that. And I could have said beforehand that there were problems with Union. But that’s life,” said FC coach Steffen Baumgart sky.

When asked, Baumgart explained: “If you make a decision, you make a decision – but that’s fine. We’re going to the next door again, so everything’s okay. Benedict is a good player, he’ll go his own way. And again: that it stuck with Union, I could have said before.”

However, Cologne’s activities on the transfer market are not yet complete. “We were on an offensive eight, as well as a second goalkeeper. Philipp Pentke is currently keeping fit, we’ll see how far it goes, and we only have one right-back position at the moment. It’s clear that we look around. But that’s about it. The squad is very well positioned, “said Baumgart.
