Talent Nemanja Motika joins Red Star Belgrade

Maria KeaneStorm talent Nemanja Motika leaves FC Bayern. As the Bundesliga record champions officially announced on Wednesday, the 18-year-old is moving to Red Star Belgrade. The top Serbian club also confirmed the transfer.
Bayern’s campus manager Jochen Sauer commented on the transfer: “Nemanja has developed well with us in recent years and has scored many goals in the Bavarian regional league this season absolutely wanted to accept reasons.” Sauer announced that Motika’s career would be “followed very closely.”
Motika, who can play several positions on offense, has scored 15 goals in 24 games for the FCB reserve team in the regional league this season. The teenager also netted in the Youth League and in the Junior DFB Cup.
In 2017 he moved from Hertha BSC to Munich. The Serbian U19 national player said of his departure: “I had a great four and a half years in Munich. I learned a lot as a player and I would like to thank everyone who has accompanied me on my way to the FC Bayern Campus.” In Belgrade he now has “the chance to play first class”.
